This cave has a relatively large branch cave, with a total length of more than 350 meters, and is the largest lava cave at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

　When the lava that flowed out during the eruption of Mount Fuji came into contact with the open air and solidified while releasing explosive components (gases), lava stalactites and rope-shaped lava were created on the inner surface of the cave.

　Unlike other caves, the temperature inside the cave is not so cold in summer and warm in winter, so in the past, many bats lived as hibernation sites.
