Motosuko Toursim Information Center / Motosu History Museum[Motosuko Camping Ground Naijo Motos Rekishikan]
This is a tourist information center for Lake Motosu and its surroundings (*Closed from November to March).
The second floor is the "Lake Motosu History Museum" where you can learn about the history of Lake Motosu.

Access

From Kawaguchiko Station on the Fujikyuko Line, take the Narusawa / Lake Shoji / Lake Motosu tour bus for 50 minutes, and get off at the final stop, Lake Motosu Tourist Information Center. Alternatively, take the local bus bound for Shin-Fuji Station, Lake Motosu, or Shimobe Onsenkyo for 55 minutes, and get off at Lake Motosu and walk for 1 minute.
From Shin-Fuji Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen, take a local bus bound for Mt. Fuji Station for 80 minutes, get off at Lake Motosu, and walk for 1 minute.

<Motosu History Museum>
It opened in Heisei 23(2011)/3 on the 2nd floor of the Tourist Information Center.
We are exhibiting the history of Motosu, which has played an important role as a border area between Kai and Suruga since ancient times.
The features of Motosu are expressed by the exhibition of excavated items from "Lake Motosu Ruins", the model of Motosu Castle, stone base, Sekisho, and the model of "Motosu Kuge Procession".
It is a historical museum where you can get various information for exploring the temples and shrines and historic sites in the Motosu area.
