Kawaguchiko area

Tenjosan

Mt. Fuji is a place where you can see the foot of Mt. Fuji in front of the hill, and it is a base for sightseeing in Lake Kawaguchi. You can see Mt. Fuji in front, Lake Kawaguchi on your right, and the Southern Alps Mountains in the distance. At the top of the mountain, there is a row of cherry blossom trees at Gokoku Shrine, and as a spring attraction of Lake Kawaguchi, many tourists, local residents, and photographers visit as Mt. Hydrangea from July to August. You can easily reach the summit by using the Kawaguchiko Ropeway.

Ubuyagasaki

Ubuyagasaki, which is located in the north of Kawaguchiko Bridge, is so famous as a famous place for cherry blossoms (the cherry blossoms bloom in the middle of April every year). Walking trail on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi

The Kawaguchiko Walking Trail is a pedestrian trail along the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, and is currently completed in about 80% of the shore of Lake Kawaguchi.
Above all, the route on the north bank is a superb view point where you can see Mt. Fuji while taking a walk along the lake. Spring is a walking course with beautiful cherry blossoms and moss phlox.

Nashikawa Maple Corridor

The Nashikawa Maple Corridor began in the Taisho era when the rivers flooded and the maple trees were planted by the residents, and now you can enjoy the maple trees over 2km in length. Residents are strongly attached to it, and handmade events such as the Autumn Foliage Festival are held in cooperation with the town, and many tourists visit.

Nagasaki Park

Oishi Park

Neba beach

The view of Mt. Fuji from the Neba beach of Saiko is a magnificent view with the scenery of Aokigahara Jukai formed by the eruption of Jogan (864 AD) in the foreground.Before the eruption, it was one lake that was connected to Lake Shoji, but the tremendous power of nature that divided it into two lakes due to the ferocious lava is a spectacular view.

Diamond Fuji from Fuji Honsu Lake Resort

In spring, you can see Diamond Fuji for several days during the year-end and New Year holidays at Fuji Honsu Lake Resort, which is known as the venue for the Fuji Shibasakura Festival. Furthermore, on days when there is no wind, you may be able to see the double diamond Fuji that moves to Ryujin Pond in the park.

Kurodake

Kurodake (elevation 1,793m) is the highest peak in the Misaka Mountains on the north side of Mt. Fuji. The summit of Mt. Kurodake is surrounded by forests and the view is not clear, but there is a spectacular view point about 2 minutes south of here. It is a point where you can see Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi to the south.

Mao without mountain

Mt. Kenashi is located straight north from the Cultural Cave Tunnel between Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Saiko. It used to be a local Kaya hunting ground, so as the name suggests, there are no tall trees on the mountaintop and the view is wonderful. It is a point that looks up at Mt. Fuji in front, overlooking Lake Kawaguchi on the left and Lake Saiko on the right.

Mt. Ashiwada (Gokodai)

Ashiwadayama, which lies on the south side of Saiko Lake and lies east and west, is a popular observatory for Mt. Fuji. Another name is Gokodai, and it is said that you could see all of Fuji Five Lakes in the past, but now you can see Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Motosu with thick trees.

Koyodai

The beautiful scenery of the autumn leaves surrounding the foot of Mt. Fuji is a beautiful point. The best time to see the autumn leaves is from mid-October to early November.

Panorama stand

The panorama stand is famous as a scenic point to see Lake Shoji, Aokigahara Jukai, Mt. Omuro, and Mt. Fuji. The scenery of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Omuro that can be seen from here is "Children's Hugging Fuji".

Ryugatake

"Diamond Fuji" where the rising sun rises from the summit of Mt. Fuji and the summit shines like a diamond. The point where you can appreciate Dimond Fuji at the time of the first sunrise of New Year's Day is the summit of Ryugadake. Located on the south side of Lake Motosu, it is a popular hiking route due to its reasonable distance and good view.
