Tenjinsha

Tenjinsha[Tenjinsha]
Built on a ridge between Mt. Hanako and Mt. Ashiwada
It was founded in Daido 2 (807) as the Oarashi Tenmangu Shrine, and enshrines Takami Omi and Sukunahikona Shrine.Later, around the time of the Tenryaku era, Sugawara no Michizane was enshrined and called Tenmangu.
There are tangible cultural properties designated by the town, "Oarashiyama Shrine," "Ten Shrine Main Hall," and "Old Tree of Ofuda."

Access

From Kawaguchiko Station, take the Retro Bus Saiko / Aokigahara Line and get off at "Tenjinshita".Alternatively, take the local bus bound for Saiko Minshuku Village and get off at "Ashiwada Campground".
