Hachioji-jinja Shrine[Hachiojijinja]
A shrine that wishes for a good harvest and no illness in the village
It is said that it was erected in Funatsu Miyanomori in the 8th year of the Tenryaku era (954), hoping for a good harvest of five grains and no illness in the village. After that, in Bunmei 8(1476)/3, it is said that he chose a good place on the shore of the lake and moved to his present location.

Access

From Kawaguchiko Station, take the Retro Bus Kawaguchiko Line and get off at "Funatsu Onsen Town". Alternatively, take the local bus bound for Kofu or Oishi Petit Pension Village and get off at "Miharashizen".
